このような内容で学びました。
「行って、『天の国は近づいた』と宣べ伝えなさい。」
テキストはマタイ１０：１−１５でした。
＜概要＞ イエスは１２使徒を集め、汚れた霊を追い出し病気を癒す権威を授け、イスラエルの人々の所に派遣し、『天の国は近づいた』と宣べ伝えるよう示唆した。
これらの個所は、私達の状況がどのようであり、それに対して神が何をされようとしているのか、その結果私達に何が起こるのかが書かれていると言える。
◆「失われた羊」とは？
羊飼いに守られて豊かな草を食べ安心して眠るのが、本来の状態であるとするならば、「失われた羊」とは、群れから離れてさ迷う羊、つまり、どうしたら幸せに到達するのか答えを持たず、満足と平安を得ていない人間の事である。人間は神を愛し、主として仰ぎながら平安で心豊かに生きるように創られたが、神から離れて苦難と葛藤の中を生きる様はまさに「失われた羊」なのである。
◆「天の国は近づいた」とは？
天の国とは愛の神が支配する所 状態であり、近づいたとはもう体験出来る状態になったということである。人が心を開いてイエスを受け入れ、神の愛に心が満たされるなら、私達はこの地上でも既に天の国を体験出来るのだと言っている。
さて、イエスはどのように述べ伝えてゆくか詳細に使徒達に教えている。受け入れず、言葉に耳を傾けない人々には・・・とそのような人々への厳しい裁きにまで言及している。
神の愛とは一人子をも与える程に大きく強く激しい愛であるが故に、厳しさも忘れてはならないと思う。今はたとえ神を否定していても、心の何処かで神がおられる事を知っていて、いよいよの時になると神に助けを求めるのが人間ではないだろうか。しかしやがて戸は閉じられる。いくら求めても悔やんでも 永遠に関係が絶たれる時が来る。この厳粛なる警告を謙遜に受け入れる者でありたいと思う。
神に喜ばれる信仰とは

神に喜ばれる信仰とは
テキストはルカ７：１−１０でした。
＜概略＞ 部下が病気で死にかかっていたローマの百人隊長が、イエスの噂を聞いて人を遣り癒しを願うのであるが、イエスは彼の信仰と謙遜さに驚き、彼を褒めた。
神と人間との関係はどのようなものか、人間のあるべき心の状態とは何か、そして人間は神にどのように求めるべきか・・。この百人隊長の言動は、まさに究極の信仰の模範であり、信仰とは何かを明らかにしている。
聖書のこの箇所を読むと、この百人隊長が高潔で人望が篤く、社会的にも高い地位の人物であった事、またその部下とも、主従の関係を超えた信頼関係で結ばれていた事が分かってくる。真理への飢え渇きが無ければ、イエスの噂を聞いただけで、イエスの中に神の権威を認める事は出来なかったのであろう。また部下への深い愛が、彼に思い切った行動を取らせたのは言うまでも無い。しかもユダヤ人ではなく、異邦人であるローマ人の信仰がイエスを驚かせ、満足させたというのが興味深い。つまり神の恵みは身分・民族を越えて全ての人に及ぶものだからであり、私達が求めるか否かによるのである。
さて 彼が使者に託した言葉の中にイエスをも驚かせた謙遜さが現れている。
それは 「貴方を家にお迎えする資格は自分には無いが、もし言葉を頂けるなら私の部下は治ります。なぜなら貴方の言葉には権威と力があるからです。」というものだった。
つまり、１、創造者なる神と被造物なる人間の違いを自覚し、人には当然のように要求する資格は無い、ただ恵みを受ける立場である。
２ イエスの言葉には、問題を解決する力があると信じていた。
ここに人が持つべき信仰の本質が込められているように思う。
人は「神よ 神よ」と言いながら、あたかも自分の願いを叶えさせる為の「神」を求め、思うようにならなければ嘆き、不信に陥り、時には恨みさえするのではないだろうか。そんな人間に神は忍耐をもって待ち続けるのである。
心を低くしてイエスを求める者、イエスの言葉に信頼する者を神は願っておられる。
The Ultimate Model of Faith
The lesson text was Luke7:1-10.
Summary: The Roman officer who led 100 soldiers had a servant who was critically ill. He heard about Jesus and sent the Jewish elders to Him to heal the servant. Jesus commended him and his faithful message.
The message of the Roman officer made clear the true relationship between God and human. He showed how people should ask God about something and what motive should people have for it. It was the ultimate model of faith and the essence of belief.
Reading these verses, we get to know that this officer was so kind and reliable that the people trusted him. In fact, his social position was very high, but the relationship between him and his servant was based on grace and unfettered by their position.
Had not this officer been seeking the truth, he would not have recognized God’s authority in Jesus just by hearing a rumor about Him. In addition, he loved his servant very much, prompting him to ask Jesus to heal him. It is also interesting to note that he was a Roman, a Gentile, but his great faith impressed Jesus, finding no one like him even among the people of Israel. That is God’s grace; it is not restricted by our status or race and is freely given to all people. It only depends on whether we want it or not.
When I read the officer’s message, I can recognize how humble he was and even Jesus expressed surprise at it. He said, “I do not deserve to have you come into my house; neither do I consider myself worthy to come to you in person. Just give the order, and my servant will get well.” I find the essence of faith in the following:
1 He realized the difference between God, the Creator, and human, the creation. He also recognized that human beings do not deserve to ask something to God, but God does give His Grace on us.
2 He believed that His words had power and authority to overcome the problems.
People tend to call for God, “Oh my God, please do something for me!” As if they are looking for a God who satisfies their desires and allows only what is convenient for them in everything. As a result, when they are not answered as they have thought God’s answer would be, they are disappointed, distrustful and sometimes feel bitterness toward God.
However, God has loved us patiently. God is still looking for people with a humble spirit, who seek Him and trust in His word.

かたくなな心
◆６月２１日のテキストはマルコ３：１−６でした。
概略 イエスはあえて安息日の禁制を破って手の萎えた人を癒した。本質から外れた掟の間違いを教えたのである。しかしイエスを訴えようと狙っていた人々の心は頑なであった。
間違いを指摘された時にいかに対応するかに、その人の心の状態が現れるものである。真理に対して心を閉ざす人々の頑な心をイエスは悲しまれた。果たして自分はどうであろうかと問われる学びであった。
安息日には人を癒す事さえいけないという、滑稽にさえ聞こえる掟を後生大事に守ろうとする愚かさ・・ 私達はいとも簡単に 物事の本質を見失う愚かさを持っているのではないだろうか。
初めは高い志を持って始めた働きが、いつの間にか本来の目的を見失い形骸化して行くのを 何度見たであろう。あるいは 人が皆やっているからという理由で無批判に慣習に従い、人と同じという事に安心を得ようとする、これも日常よく目にする光景である。
人間の愚かさに対してイエスの投げかけた質問は明快であった。「安息日に律法で許されているのは、善をおこなう事か。命を救う事か、殺す事か。」なぜ人々は、子供でも分かる簡単な質問に答えをためらったのか。それはおそらく、単純明快な質問であるがゆえに、自論を差し挟む余地が無いがゆえに、答えられなかったのであろう。それどころか怒り狂った。自分達の間違いが明らかにされたからである。所謂面目まるつぶれというやつであるが、指摘が当たっていればいるほど、怒るのも人の常である。間違いを指摘された時の対応に、その人の心の状態が現れるものである。真理に根ざすイエスは揺るがず、穏やかで威厳に満ちていた。しかし自己保身に終始する宗教家の姿はそれとはかけ離れていた。
片手の萎えた男にイエスは「手を伸ばしなさい」と言われ、素直に従った男の萎えた手はまっすぐに伸びた。「これは私達の狭い心を広げなさいと言っているように聞こえる」とある参加者がいみじくも言ったが、全く同感である。イエスは言った「真理はあなたがたを自由にします」（ヨハネ８：３２）「私が道であり真理であり命なのです」（ヨハネ１４：６）
まさに、真理なるイエスが、頑なで萎えた心をまっすぐにし、生き返らせるのである。
They were so stubborn…
The lesson text of 3rd June was Mark 3:1-6
Summary: Jesus dared to heal a man who had paralyzed hand, despite being regarded as breaking the law of the Sabbath. He intended to set the people free from the unreasonable rules, which were off the essence of what was originally given by God.
Our true mind tends to appear in our reaction when our wrongdoing is pointed out. Jesus saw the people closing their hearts to the truth and being stubborn; felt sorry for them. I wonder how I would react in such a situation through this lesson.
In Jesus’ time, people had to keep a lot of rules of abstinence on the Sabbath. Healing a person, for example, was regarded as working and breaking the rules. It seems stupid for us who are living today. On the other hand, I also think that people often lose the essence of things. I have seen people with good motivation losing their initial ideals and have become an adherent in name only. I sometimes see people trying to get their security by conforming to others. For example, just by following the rules without careful thought or consideration of others.
For the foolishness of the people, Jesus clearly asked, “What does our Law allow us to do on the Sabbath? To help or to harm? To save someone’s life or to destroy it?” Why did they hesitate to answer it? It is simple to answer even for children. It was so simple that they could not assert themselves that is why they did not answer. They got furious because it showed that they were wrong and failed to keep their pride. How should we react when the wrongdoing inside of us are pointed out? The Pharisees were keen to self-defense. On the contrary, Jesus, the Source of all truth, was decisively calm and demonstrated authority.
Jesus said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” The man with a paralyzed hand stretched it out and it became well again. A participant admirably said, “It sounds that Jesus tells us to widen our narrow minds.” I really agree with him.
Jesus said, “The truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). Likewise, He said, “I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John14:6)
Jesus, who is the Truth, revives our paralyzed minds.

イエスは触れてくださる！６月７日のテキストはルカ５：１２〜１６でした。
＜要約＞ 重い伝染性の皮膚病を患った人が、イエスを見て「主よ、お心ならば私を癒す事がお出来になります。」とひれ伏して願った。イエスはその人に触れて癒してやる。
重い伝染性の皮膚病。人々から忌み嫌われ、社会から全く疎外された人生を送っていた一人の男が、絶望の中でキリストに出会った。「清くして下さい」と懇願する彼にキリストの取った方法とは、手を差し伸べて彼に触れる事であった。「よろしい。清くなれ。」の言葉によってたちまち癒され、彼の人生は一変する。
彼の外見はおそらくおぞましい様相であったろうと想像する。特にこの時代は、神から呪われた汚れた者であると考えられており、「私は汚れています」と告げながら歩くのを義務つけられていたのであるから、その絶望の深さはどれほどであったろうか
しかし彼はイエスを見た。それは真っ暗な闇に差し込む一条の光だったであろう。
イエスの周りにはいつも大勢の人がいた。そんな中へ彼は勇気を振り絞って足もとにひれ伏した。「主よ、御心ならば、私を清くすることがお出来になります。」自分は願う権利は無い、しかしもし貴方が憐れんでくださるなら・・・何と言う謙遜な願いかと思う。
「神が愛なら なぜ苦しむ私の祈りを聞いてくれないのか？」そんな言葉を耳にする。いや私自身呟いた事がある。しかし彼は選択権をイエスに託した。そして言った「私を清くする事がお出来になります」イエスに対する全き信頼無しには言えない言葉である。
自分の汚れへの正直な認識とイエスに対する信頼、この二つだけが彼の心を占めていたのである。
イエスは彼に触れた。自分に直接触れる人がいるなどと想像しただろうか。イエスの愛はかさかさの彼の心を潤し喜びで満たした。肉体の病が癒された喜びに加えて、いやそれ以上に彼の心は癒され解放されたに違いない。
ところで、彼の病は私達の心の象徴ではないだろうか。人間の心は罪という病に侵されていると聖書はいう。作り主なる神から離れている大元の罪が、汚れを生み出すのである。この男のように正直に自分の汚れを認め、清くされたいと願う素直な心に、イエスは近づいて触れて下さる。
「神に近付きなさい そうすれば神は近づいてくださいます。」ヤコブ４：８
Jesus will touch you!!
The lesson text of 7th June was Luke 5:12-16
Summary: There was a man who was suffering from a dreaded skin disease. He saw Jesus and threw himself down and begged Him, “Sir, If you want to, you can make me clean!”Then Jesus reached out and touched him. At once the disease left the man.
A man was alienated from his community for a long time because of his detestable disease. In his hard time, he saw Jesus and begged Him to heal him. The way of Jesus to heal him was reaching out and touching him. Jesus not only healed his physics but also pored His love into his broken heart.
It was a serious infective skin disease. I suppose that his appearance was ugly. In addition, it was said that this kind of disease was a punishment on his sins by God in this time and he was obligated to walk shouting “I’m not clean”. Thinking of these situations, how miserable he was!
However, he saw a streak of light in the darkness of his life in Jesus. Even though many people were always surrounding Jesus, he threw himself down gathering all his courage and begged. “If you want to,” This shows that he was not adequate, but if He showed him His favor. What a humble entreaty it was!
Sometimes I heard of someone say, no, I myself complained, “If God is love, why He doesn’t answer me in such a suffering?”But he entrusted the choice to Jesus and said, “You can make me clean” He couldn’t say it without entire trust in Jesus.
He recognized his uncleanness and perfectly trusted in Jesus. He was focused on just these facts.
Jesus reached out and touched him. How could he imagine being touched?
Jesus’ love poured into his heart dried-up for being loved. His spiritual rejoicing was more than his physical healing, I think.
His uncleanness seems representative of our sinful spirits. The Bible says that we have original sins, so we are separated from God. As a result we are unlearned by our sinful nature. If we humbly admit that we are sinners, and desire to be cleaned like this man, Jesus reaches out and touches us.
Today God says to you, “Come near to God, and He will come near to you.” James 4:8
キリストの弟子とは/権威ある言葉/
キリストの弟子とは
テキストはルカ５−１〜１１です。
＜概略＞ 「イエスはシモンの船に乗り、岸辺の群衆に向かって教えてられた。その後、シモンに沖に漕ぎだして漁をせよと言われる。夜通しの努力も空しく不漁だったシモンではあったが、イエスの言葉に従うと、船も沈まんばかりの大漁となる。イエスの御業を見て「私から離れて下さい」と自らの罪深さを恥じるシモンをイエスは弟子として招き、彼は全てを捨ててイエスに従った。」
一人の平凡な漁師が、自らの罪深さを悟り、それまでの人生の全てを捨ててイエスの弟子となり、後に世界に大きな影響を与える程の人物と変貌してゆく。何が一人の人間をこれほどに捕らえたのか、神の子の弟子として選ばれた資質とは何だったのか
通常人が選ばれて栄誉を受けるには、何か人より秀でた能力、教養、資質が要求されるものであるが、漁師のシモンは教養豊かどころか粗野であったかもしれないし、漁をする以外に特別に人より秀でた能力があったとは想像しにくいのである。
ひとつシモンが秀でていたのは、自分が罪びとであると素直に認めた謙遜さであると私は思う。『イエスの足もとにひれ伏して言った「主よ 私から離れて下さい。私は罪深い者なのです」』 このシモンペテロの態度に私は感動する。このように自らに正直でありたいと願う。イエスはシモンのこの謙遜を尊ばれたのではなかろうか。
つまり、神の求める資質とは、自分が罪びとであると認めた謙遜さである。
もし人を２種類に分けるとしたら、神の前に自分の罪を認めた人と、罪が解らない人と言う事になるのではないだろうか。ペテロはイエスの圧倒的な神聖に触れた。そしてそれとは対照的な自らの罪深さを、清い光に照らし出されるように悟ったのである。イエスは一言もペテロの罪に触れてはいない。しかしペテロは自ら悟ったのである。罪の自覚とはこのようにしてイエスに近づいた時に起こるのだと思う。
怖れ、ひれ伏すペテロにイエスは言われた。「恐れる事はない。今から後あなたは人間をとる漁師になる。」イエスはペテロをこのように作り変えると約束されたのである。実際ペテロは全てを捨てて従ったと書かれている。ペテロに全てを捨てさせるだけの価値がイエスの中にあった。ペテロは真の価値に出会った、いやむしろ捕らえられたのだ。神に捕えて頂いたペテロの人生は一変した。無学な漁師が、群衆に神の真理を解き明かし、世界に大きな影響を与える程の指導者へと変えられてゆくのである。
さて 全ての人が牧師になるわけではないように、様々な働きが必要である。また全てを捨てるとは、心の優先順位を神第一にすることである。つまり神を一番に愛して自分の置かれた立場で神に仕える、それが全てのクリスチャンに問われている「キリストの弟子」ではないだろうか。
神は今日も謙遜な心、創り変えられ得る心を求めておられる。神に選んで戴ける謙遜な心を持って歩んで行きたいと願っている。

■How Can We Become the Discipleｓ of Christ?
The lesson text of 22nd April was Luke 5:1-11
Summary： Jesus sat in the boat that belonged to Simon and taught the crowd. After teaching, He said to Simon to push the boat out further to the deep water and to let down his nets for a catch. Simon couldn’t get any fish in spite of working hard all night. When Simon obeyed His instruction, he was amazed by an extremely large catch of fish. Seeing what happened, Simon realized his sin and he followed Jesus as His disciple, leaving everything behind.
This is the story of an ordinary fisherman who met Jesus and realized his sin. He was absolutely transformed into a great leader of churches that influenced the world. What caught him so strongly? What quality did he have to be chosen as a disciple of the Son of God?
Generally, people are distinguished through their special ability, education and overall exemplary quality to be chosen and honored. Using this standard, Simon the fisherman, was far from such kind of people. He might be boorish and uneducated, so it’s hard to imagine him to have excellent abilities compared to others besides fishing. However, one thing outstanding thing about him was his humility for admitting his sin. I am impressed by his word while falling on his knees and saying, “Go way from me, Lord! I am a sinful man!” I hope to be honest to God like him. Jesus honored his humbleness.
In other words, the quality God looks for in a disciple is humility: to admit one’s sins before God.
Imagine if we’re divided into two groups, one group is composed of people who acknowledge their sins and the other of those people who don’t.
Simon Peter recognized absolute holiness in Jesus and then he realized his sinful nature. His purity brought to light the sinful nature in Simon. Jesus didn’t refer to his sin but he realized it by himself. The acknowledgment of our sins happens when we get close to the holiness of Jesus.
Jesus said to Simon “Don’t be afraid; from now you will be catching people.” He promised Simon to transform his life. In fact, Simon followed Jesus leaving everything behind. Simon found the adequacy in Jesus to be able to leave everything. It may be better to say that Simon was caught by the truth of Jesus. The life of Simon completely changed after that. An uneducated boorish fisherman was transformed into a great leader, preaching the Gospel to the people and strongly influencing the world.
Not everyone becomes a pastor and we need many kinds of workers. Likewise to leave everything behind in our lives is to give our priorities to God first. That is, all of the Christians are required as His disciples to serve God first in our current circumstances.
God is still looking for the humble in spirit to choose and to transform.

■『 権威ある言葉 』
今週のテキストはルカ４−３１〜３７でした。
＜要約＞ イエスの教えが権威に満ちているのに人々が驚いていると、汚れた霊に捕りつかれた男がやってくる。イエスはご自身の言葉の権威と力によってその男から悪霊を追い出してやる。
◆イエスの言葉には権威があった。
彼の言葉の中に人間の力、能力を遥かに超えた何かを、人々は感じたのであろう。それは堅固な石のようで、挑もうとする人間の浅はかさを、自ずと恥じ入らせるものである。
私が初めて友人の口から、聖書の言葉を聞いた時に感じた何かは、まさにそれであった。とても簡単な言葉であったと記憶している。自分の理論に多少自信を持っていた私ではあったが、確かな真理の前に一言も云えなかったのである。真理の持つ光に、自分のちっぽけさが照らし出される思いがしたのを、今でも良く覚えている。
◆イエスは権威ある言葉をもって悪霊を追い出した。
興味深いのは、イエスが神であり、悪霊を滅ぼす権威も力も持っている事を、悪霊は人間以上に知っていたという事である。
人間には、霊を見抜く力も追い出す力も無いが、イエスは権威ある言葉によって、彼を解放する。悪霊に支配された男を哀れまれた、イエスの愛ゆえであった。
◆イエスの言葉にどう応えるか
聖書は世界のベストセラーであると聞いた事がある。多くの人は、イエスを神の子であると知っているという。しかし知っている事と、信じる事の間には大きな違いがあると私は思う。悪霊でさえ、イエスが神であり、その権威も力も人々よりも詳しく知っていたのだから。ところが、悪霊はイエスとは何の関係性も無く、ただ恐れだけがあった。
一方信じるとは信頼する、従う、愛するという行為を伴う、いや自然に生まれて来るものなのである。それはイエスを信じる者との間に信頼関係があるからである。
つまり、知っているだけでは、人はイエスの下さる愛も喜びも、体験する事は出来ないのである。
イエスはご自分の「言葉」が、神の権威と知恵と力をもっている事を証明された。まさに「言葉」は人となられたイエスご自身なのである。このイエスの「言葉」に信頼し歩んで行きたいと願っている。

■“Words with authority”
The lesson text for this week is Luke 4:31-37.
Summary: Jesus taught the people at Capernaum in Galilee on the Sabbath. They were amazed at the authority in His teachings. Jesus also cast out the demon from a man in the synagogue for the evil spirits
The words of Jesus had authority and power. He even saved a man from demon-possession by His powerful words.
People were amazed at His teachings because His teachings were founded on the truth, wisdom and love of God. They couldn’t deny or even make an argument against His words. They acknowledged the authority of God in Him.
Jesus had the power to cast out the demon from a man just by His words. Jesus saw through the evil spirit controlling the man, but the people did not have such an insight, thus the man remained in the synagogue without being thrown out by the people. It is interesting that it was the demon, not the people, who identified Jesus as the Son of God and had power to destroy him. Not only that the people lack the insight; they also couldn’t do anything against the demon. The Bible shows in other passages that people were just frightened by the demon.
The love of Jesus saved the man from demonic control. I imagine how this man suffered because of the demon and how his life was changed after that.
People sometimes acknowledge that Jesus is God. Acknowledging and believing are different, however. Even the devil acknowledged Jesus as God. On the other hand, believing in Him manifests trust, obedience and love. If you accept Jesus, you will be able to establish a wonderful relationship with Him.
Jesus gives His words with authority and power, to lead and protect you for the sake of His love.
